Dancing
Prosthesis created to aid in dancing

Dancing involves a great deal of hands meeting together – for example in square dancing, with your immediate partner and with dancers in the square. Arm amputees can use a special arm that helps with the pushing and spinning when they go dancing.

The prosthesis featured here contains a flexible wrist to allow more freedom of movement when dancing. It was fabricated using a hydraulic hosing material that was clamped onto a wrist insert to thread on. TRS uses the same type of procedure with some of their products and they could provide a similar prosthesis.
